The Northern Tioga School District Board of Directors adopted a goal in 2003 to begin an Early Literacy Program in the district to promote reading to preschool youth. The district is now part of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. This amazing program provides children from birth to age five with free, high-quality books delivered directly to their homes each month, helping inspire a love of reading from the very start. A special thank you to the Education Council for their support in helping bring this opportunity to our area and for their dedication to early childhood literacy. We’re proud to support our youngest learners and can’t wait to see the joy these books will bring to families across our community.
