Guidance Counselors Present at the Integrated Learning Conference

The guidance counselors presented at the Pennsylvania Career and Technical Education Integrated Learning Conference held at Penn State on November 15, 2018. The title of their presentation was “Reaching Higher to Sustain Career Readiness in a Rural PA School.” From the conference agenda: “At Northern Tioga School District, the counseling team has worked together with faculty to make career readiness a part of students’ educational experience. Through the development of our K-12 guidance plan, we have added several opportunities for students including job shadowing, visits to local industry, aligning courses to career interest and developing partnerships that may lead to internships/full-time employment.”
